The Ameritex Carpet Corporation is our national floor covering products distribution division.

Ameritex operates out of several distribution and manufacturing centers solely for the sale of floor covering products to Wholesale, National Chain Customers, Large End Users, Developers and Contractors. We have marketed products through several of our flooring companies for nearly 70 years.

Ameritex is somewhat unique to the floor covering industry in that we are a full service company. Our distribution and drafting people have years of experience with blueprints, seam plans and expediting product shipments in critical situations. We sell to the customer who is looking for a floor covering supplier from our warehouses, or as a representative for several Fortune 500 mills where we have established national buying contracts for large multiple location end users.

One of our largest accomplishments was the signing of a national supply account with WalMart Stores for several hundred thousand square yards of carpeting per year. We spent months reviewing their current product and service levels. After developing a custom product that met their specifications, we were able to save them significant dollars through our tailor-made purchasing program. WalMart is a very demanding client and we feel strongly that meeting their vendor approval process confirmed our belief that we had come of age in the national floor covering supply business.

We also supply locations of several companies with carpet and flooring including new store, branch and office expansion, as well as, current store, branch and office replacements. Working with flooring manufacturers we have developed products to their specifications. Seam and layout plans are sent to our drafting department for exact yardage and cost estimates prior to shipment. These end users handle the installations through localized sub-contractors.

We have been a champion of the carpet specification market for many years. We will work with your design team to review your current specifications or to define new specification parameters, for new projects, then find the appropriate mill and negotiate pricing. We represent every major domestic mill and overseas manufacturers as well.
